Devin brings a strong technical background to Powertec. His early experience began with a three-year contract as an Artilleryman in the Canadian Armed Forces, serving primarily as a survey and command post technician. Returning to civilian life, he spent the next six years working as a machinist. Devin then began his electrical training at Camosun College in Victoria, BC, focusing on high-rise construction and fire alarm systems. He completed his apprenticeship and earned his Red Seal certification in three years and eight months, spanning February 2018 to October 2021. After relocating to Winnipeg in June 2022, Devin joined Powertec Electric to work on commercial service and industrial controls. In December 2025, he transitioned to the Powertec Solar team. Equipped with recent AutoCAD certification and specialized training from Solar Energy International, Devin currently focuses on solar array design and assists with project management
