Since the foundation of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the football team has won the CFL Championship (The Grey Cup) 10 times, the most recent of which was in 1990. The baseball team’s unique name is originated from the goldeye fish which is cooked and prepared as part of a smoked dish or delicacy that is normally called the Winnipeg goldeye.
